We recommend a 24 – 48 hour brining time.
1 Part Apple Cider Vinegar 1 Part Sea Salt + Filtered Water 1 Part Organic Orange Juice 4 – 5 Organic Oranges, Sliced (with Peel on) Fresh Rosemary Ice
Mix all ingredients together and then submerge turkey in 1 roasting bag, tie tightly, or place in a large clean container with a covering (aluminum foil is okay) and keep in refrigerator.
Rotate the Turkey within the bag a couple times a day to keep consistent coverage of the brine solution on all sides of the turkey. The more rotations, the better.
The recommended brining time is 24 – 48 hours.
After the 24 – 48 hour brining time, rinse the turkey COMPLETELY with filtered water – inside and outside of turkey and all crevices. Pat dry with a paper towel. Immediately prepare to cook.
